Kirsty Erskine
Kōwhai Kaiako Years 0-2
Mrs Erskine is our experienced New Entrant teacher, an age group she has a passion for teaching. She nurtures our Kōwhai, ensuring they have strong foundations in Literacy and Numeracy.
Kirsty is passionate about Discovery Learning to immerse students in Oral Language and Key Capabilities through hands-on learning. She has been instrumental in providing opportunities for transitions to school through Discovery Learning afternoons. This has supported our 4-year-olds in growing in confidence and becoming school-ready.
Kirsty is our first point of contact for our 5-year-olds and their families. As an experienced classroom practitioner across teaching levels, she knows exactly what our emerging learners need to be school-ready and to move forward.
